Vivacious Moves-Introduction to Feather Fans
Learn the basics of dancing with feather fans for belly dancers. Learn from a true expert. Workshop includes fan anatomy, arm drills, and basic movements. Specialized combinations will be taught that incorporates proper Raqs Sharqi technique with fan dancing. This workshop is geared towards dancers of all levels. A small feather fan is required for the workshop. Kelebek will has some fans available for use during the session (waiver signature is required). Kelebek is the Turkish word for butterfly, the universal symbol of growth and transformation. This name was given to Kelebek because it symbolizes everything she strives to achieve through belly dance: growth and transformation; as well excellence, creativity, and inspiration.
Her overall style combines American Cabaret and Modern Tribal with Hip hop, Latin, and Burlesque; which create fantastic fantasy performances. She performs as four distinct personas ranging from Cabaret fusion to Tribal fusion. These personas embody the different sides of her personality. She can be seen performing at events throughout the Northeast in addition to her home states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is widely known for her joyful, emotional performances, and stage presence; as well as her technique and stunning, original costuming.
